As a University of Arizona graduate and passionate advocate for the local, small businesses that make Tucson so unique, Founder and Principal Paul Danek founded Sonoran Growth Strategies to bring Enterprise-level business, technology and innovation services to small-and medium-sized businesses.

Paul grew up in Michigan and fell in love with the state of Arizona at an early age. After two years at University of Michigan he packed up his car and moved (sight unseen) to the Old Pueblo, enrolling at the University of Arizona.

Realizing he still didn't know what he wanted to be when he grew up, Paul pursued a liberal arts (or customer service, as he'd come to call it) degree, participating in Big Brothers & Big Sisters and the UofA cycling team during his school years.

After graduation, he became an unintentional Studs Terkel doing everything from managing a regional rental car fleet to selling sneakers and insurance before slowly and deliberately building his skillset and brand in SaaS (Software-as-a-Service, specifically Salesforce) and business advisory.

Paul has been consulting in the enterprise space for over 20 years. His customers have included global telecom​, manufacturing, high technology, consumer products, distribution and hospitality. With an extensive professional network, if Paul and team can't do it, someone in their network can.With a broad industry background and a unique ability to cut through the noise and complexity to focus on true business need, he is uniquely equipped to quarterback and execute your most critical business and technology initiatives.

​When he's not solving business problems, Paul can be found cycling on the roads and trails of Tucson. His unique history is personified in his team loyalties that include the Detroit Pistons & Tigers, Arizona Wildcats & Cardinals, and still a little of the Michigan Wolverines. Paul is an active volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, fostering at-risk animals and providing career mentoring to transitioning miltary veterans.
